PKCS12 Key Store Mac Invalid

Hi;

I need help with some errors. I'm using mec-AS2 build 23. I shutdown the application, and restart it. However, when I try to "Reload keystore", I encounter this error

"[2:59:32 PM] refreshKeystoreCertificates: PKCS12 key store mac invalid - wrong password or corrupted file.".

The application seems to function fine, but without the KEYS, we can't sent/received any data.

WE DID NOT CHANGE ANY PASSWORDS ON THE "certificates.p12" file,

Please help.

thank you,
Chone

chonekim,

it could happen that the keystore file is corrupted, e.g. if something crashes during write access.
Could you please try to open the keystore with an other application, e.g. portecle (see links section)? The default password for "certificates.p12" is "test". It this fails the keystore file is corrupted. Do you have a backup?

Heller

Hi Heller;

thanks for response; I've opened the "certificates.p12" with portecle and it worked fine, no errors, all the existing keys are still there. I've even tried to restored the backup version, but it still encountered exact message "refreshKeystoreCertificates: PKCS12 key store mac invalid - wrong password or corrupted file".

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks
Chone.

chonekim,

please try to retype the keystore password in the m-e-c as2 preferences and restart the server afterwards.

Heller;

Here is the thing; I've replaced certificates.p12,fresh installations of mec-as2 build 23, and even build 25, and it still encountered the errors. I've performed reboot system between installations.

Hope you can help.

thanks

Heller;

I notice that even if I re-type the password, somehow, the "default" password (not the one I changed to) is returned. I typed four characters password, but when I go back to preference, the password changed to something else automatically.
