Hello!
I'm trying to access the source code of mec-as2.
I use the following command sequence:
$ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@mec-as2.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/mec-as2 login
$ cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@mec-as2.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/mec-as2 co -P 25
Here I get the following error messages:
cvs checkout: warning: cannot write to history file /cvsroot/mec-as2/CVSROOT/history: Read-only file system
cvs checkout: Updating 25
cvs checkout: failed to create lock directory for `/cvsroot/mec-as2/25' (/cvsroot/mec-as2/25/#cvs.lock): Read-only file system
cvs checkout: failed to obtain dir lock in repository `/cvsroot/mec-as2/25'
cvs [checkout aborted]: read lock failed - giving up
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance!
Andreas

Hello,
thanks for your quick reply.
I used exactly the commands shown on this help page,
using the "25" as module name.

Andreas,
to be honest I access the cvs with tortoiseCVS, this works fine...

Andreas,
we sent a request about the CVS system to sourceforge. The support answered, the CVS system seems to be non functional atm.
