Installation problem, empty dialog box

Hi,

I'm trying to install on CentOS 6.

[root@editest mec]# java -version
java version "1.6.0_29"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_29-b11)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.4-b02, mixed mode)

When I run mendelson_as2_start.sh I just see a empty dialog box.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had a similar problem awhile back.

Try adding your machine's domain name to the /etc/hosts file.

I remember the problem you had but do you have an idea why adding the domain name to the /etc/hosts file fixes this? This problem seems not to occure on windows.

I don't know why it worked for me. It was just something that was suggested to me to try. I don't know if it will solve the problem for Jonas, but it won't hurt to try.

Hi, I just installed Mendelson AS2 yesterday and had the same issue. I copied the security policies related to the cryptho limit in java from Mendelson\jre\lib\security\ to my JRE security path and then it worked.
I am not sure if this was actually the fix, but it worked for me.
